3.11 ART FOUNDATION 15 years since the Great East Japan Earthquake

早いもので、東日本大震災が起きましてから、この3月で、15年を迎えようとしております。そのメモリアルに、鎮魂の思いを込めて、この作品「candle stand rising from zero」を能登で被災された TAKAZAWA CANDLEさんの作る、和ろうそくと一緒に、希望の光を灯そうと制作させていただきました。また、3.11が起こりました東日本はじめ、能登半島等の国内の被災地、また世界では各所で戦争が起こっておりますが、その国、その土地に様々な活動で、希望の光を灯そうと3.11 ART FOUNDATIONでは、各地のボランティアの方々と現在、様々なART PROJECT を行っております。

3.11 ART FOUNDATION 15 Years Since the Great East Japan Earthquake

Time flies, and this March marks 15 years since the Great East Japan Earthquake. To commemorate this, and with thoughts of remembrance, we created this artwork, "Candle Stand Rising from Zero," together with traditional Japanese candles made by TAKAZAWA CANDLE, who were affected by the disaster in Noto, to light a light of hope.Furthermore, in addition to the disaster areas in Eastern Japan where 3.11 occurred, such as the Noto Peninsula, and in the wars raging in various parts of the world, the 3.11 ART FOUNDATION is currently undertaking various art projects with volunteers in various locations to light a light of hope in those countries and lands.
