キュビズムとは、２次元の表現を分析し解体を試み、その断片化された対象を３次元に再構築することである。しかし、その表現は、キャンバスに描かれた、あくまでも２次元の表現である。

new cubismとは２次元の表現を絵画ではなく、立体として再構築したものである。しかし、３次元の表現ではありますが、そこに２次元をも感じることができ、２次元と３次元を交差する２．５次元的なものを感じることのできる、今までに無い表現感覚をコンセプトに製作した作品です。

New Cubism

Cubism analyzes and deconstructs two-dimensional expressions, reconstructing the fragmented objects into three dimensions. However, these expressions remain two-dimensional, painted on canvas.

New Cubism reconstructs two-dimensional expressions as solid objects, rather than as paintings. However, while these are three-dimensional expressions, they also convey a sense of two-dimensionality, and a 2.5-dimensional quality that intersects two and three dimensions.
