安土桃山時代より継承された特殊技術で蓋を回して開閉できます。
とてもコンテンポラリーなデザインとなっておりますが、古式な茶室での使用が、最も個性を放つと考えております。

This tea ceremony caddy explores history and expresses the Japanese view of the universe and the aesthetic sense of color since the Heian period.
Natsume (Japanese lacquerware)
Size: 65 x 65 mm
This natsume (Japanese lacquerware) was developed by Koichiro Kimura and is crafted with lacquer and special coatings.
The lid can be opened and closed by turning it using special technology that has been passed down since the Azuchi-Momoyama period.
Although the design is very contemporary, we believe it will look most unique when used in a traditional tea room.
It is also a versatile piece of Japanese lacquerware, so we hope you will enjoy using it.
